Content should be delivered to students in a variety of ways. This helps all students access the material. Pencil and paper isn't all there is. One way is to present the material so that all students can view it is as whole class. My 21st-Century students need 21st-Century Technology in our classroom! Our class needs an LCD TV because we do not have a Smartboard. With an LCD TV, I can engage my students in rich, rigorous and engaging content and lessons! Our classroom lacks updated 21st-Century tools and technology. It's time to engage my students into the future of learning. Through this technology, my students will engage with different media sources and platforms via YouTube, TedTalks, Google Classroom, Khan Academy, Art 21 and many more online platforms. My students will be able to do individual presentations, class demonstrations and interactive class activities. The options are limitless! The Alexa Echo Dot would help my students quickly find information that they want and need in order to successfully complete their assignments. They will have to ask the appropriate questions which will help build higher order thinking skills. Students' language skills will also improve because they will have to learn how to enunciate, use appropriate fluency, and formal language to receive a response from Alexa. Students love using technology, and this is a tool which they'll love! Please help us update our classroom technology so that I can engage my students in 21st-Century learning!
