I began introducing flexible seating in my classroom three years ago. The students do not have assigned desks, instead they can choose from a variety of workspaces to compliment their individual learning styles. They really enjoy having a choice in the type of learning environment that they work in, and I have seen how beneficial this can be in their productivity and collaboration with each other. Aren't we all more efficient when we're comfortable? I am looking to add even more workspace options in the hopes of making my classroom the most homey, welcoming, collaborative place possible for my students.
