Currently my class includes an 7:9 boy to girl ratio. With that said, the active boys in my class are spending an inordinate amount of time engaged in rough and tumble play. Suffice it to say that getting them interested in science activities has been difficult. Despite these challenges, I am confident that with your help I can create a more appealing science center, which attracts both boys and girls in a investigative way of learning. Our children come from humble beginnings and face multiple risk factors daily an that is how they qualified for our preschool program. By providing positive learning opportunities, and exposure to a variety of scientific tools, for all students, we can help bridge the gap between home and school and ensure that no child is left behind. Please help me help these children obtain important skills necessary for their future academic endeavors.
