I serve seventh grade students in Science and Math. Our school is a small, rural school located in North Carolina. We have an interesting blend of personalities in each classroom, which can make for lively discussions and lessons. My students have limited educational opportunities outside of the classroom, as many come from economically disadvantaged homes. My goal is to provide students with opportunities to practice being a good friend, work on resolving conflicts, and discuss how to handle situations involving bullying.
