Within my classroom, my students are given the opportunity to explore the excitement of reading series during a four-week unit! My students are passionate about reading, and they have loved getting to know characters by reading multiple stories. Even so, my classroom does not have a large supply of series books. Reading series has truly engaged my students and given them the desire to read! My students are able to meet in book clubs to discuss characters across a series. They love finding similarities and differences that they can share with their friends. I have a limited collection of books, and would love to give my students the gift of reading series books!
