Our learning community is located in the heart of the city. Our school is providing a safe learning community for about 450 students, over ninety percent of which receive free or reduced lunch. My students have had sheltered life experiences, many of whom have never left the city, and some have not even left their own block. My wish is to provide in my classroom life experience that some may not otherwise have.
