PHHS Black Student Union would like to celebrate Black History Month by announcing a Black History Fact each day in that month of February and by displaying inspirational and educational posters near high-traffic areas in the school building. Our goals are two-fold: 1.) to educate the student body of the accomplishments and contributions of African Americans and 2.) to increase the self-esteem and sense of belonging of the Black student population. Many of the posters already in our possession are dated and worn. Posters that are fresh and attractive are the only things stopping us from meeting our project goal. We need your help!
