As a Dual Language Teacher, I am fortunate to have a classroom with shelves filled with books in English for my students to read. BUT, my colleagues in the Spanish classes, DO NOT have enough Spanish books in their classes for kids! Empty shelves and kids without books in their hands, is a problem. With your support and my bike ride from Maine to Miami, students in the Spanish classes will have fun books to read this fall. While this is just a small project, your support will go a long, long way in bringing smiles to kids and helping me to continue to foster a love of reading! Thank you and let me know what good books you've read so far this summer!!!
