The LeapStart Activity Books teach many skills necessary for a student's academic success. They are a fun, interactive way for a child to learn while playing. The following are examples of the skills that children learn while using these books: Shapes & Colors teaches skills such as matching shapes, identifying and extending patterns, and creating rhythms. Alphabet Adventures teaches uppercase and lowercase letters, letter sounds, as well as exploring music and rhythms. Scout & Friends Math teaches skills such as matching quantities to numbers, counting to 10, and comparing sets of objects. The World of Baby Animals Teaches life science and memory skills, which include exploring different animal traits and habitats, practicing with science-related vocabulary, and recalling object locations. The LeapStart books are a great way to get children excited about learning while teaching them skills over many domains of development. Read and Write with Communication Skills teaches identifying rhyming words, understanding how words are formed and writing letters. Pet Pal Puppies Math teaches math and social emotional skills, which include identifying numbers 1-10, and identifying emotions through facial expressions. Kids World Atlas teaches geography and global awareness skills including use of maps, identifying continents, cultural differences, and sharing. Pre-K STEM teaches reading simple graphs, experimenting with trial and error, and using tools to solve problems.
