With this being my first full year as a classroom teacher, I quickly learned that in order to improve instruction, I need technology and some awesome flexible seating to spice things up! The Kindle Fires will help set the tone for small group instruction and blended learning. In the innovative 21st Century classroom, there is a shift from paper to pencil learning to digital learning through technology. This is the digital age, and future employment opportunities will require a robust knowledge of technology and programming. Technology allows students to connect to the world, our curriculum, new age instructional materials, programs, digital design and most importantly give access to our district's digital student resources. This technology not only acclimates them to the use of various technology, but also inspires them to work and learn more using technology and collaborating with others. The Kindles will help prepare them for middle and high school; in middle and high school students will use technology to embark upon online learning. My students will use the tablets to review content and complete assessments and projects online in Math and Social Studies! Please help me support my students' education and academic success!
