I teach in a high achieving city school in South Carolina. We have become an International Baccalaureate World School! Through this endeavor, we are becoming more internationally minded by practicing the International Baccalaureate Learner Attributes of being Caring, Principled, Reflective, Open-Minded, Balanced, Knowledgeable and by being Thinkers, Inquirers, Communicators and Risk-Takers! Classroom teachers and related arts teachers are working more closely than ever toward the common goal of learning! As the music teacher, I teach everything from Music History and how it relates to US and World History, to the styles of music made in our state and country and world, to reading the notes and rhythms of music to play rhythm instruments and recorders!
