I have a diverse population of students. They work together to attain a common goal. I teach at a high school with a math and science emphasis. My students work to earn an Associates Degree concurrently with their high school diploma. Their tuition is fully covered by the school as long as they have high attendance and academic success. Algebra 2 is the foundation of the rest of their schooling as it is required before they can take any college math classes. My students work hard both on their own and as a team. Because of our small school climate they quickly form lasting friendships that support them in their academics.
