My first grade students are always enthusiastic about investigations. Whether researching whales, making traditional Tlingit drums, or harvesting the neighboring garden, they love diving deep into units of study, practicing new vocabulary and drawing connections to other experiences. They are really great at listening to each others' questions and observations, and enjoy discussing, discussing, discussing!

About my class
