Since we are returning to in-person learning in September, a 3D printer would make hands-on lessons much more in-depth and give them more meaning. For example, when we study cells, the students can make a 3D model of a plant or animal cell. Space science - make a rocket with 3D components from the printer! Chemistry- make molecules and see they how fit together! A 3D printer will help recapture some of the learning loss that the students experienced due to the pandemic. STEM is an integral part of education, and a 3D printer will allow the students to learn about science, technology, engineering, and math while having fun!
