Clamoring class wants to join the technology revolution. I teach 3rd grade in a Title 1 program improvement school located in a high poverty area in Northern California. I have a class of 29 students with various academic levels and learning styles. About 90% of my students qualify for free or reduced lunch, which means they are coming from low socioeconomically disadvantage homes where computer access is practically nonexistent. Even though they're able to use a few old classroom computers at school, one iPad could provide my entire class the opportunity to successfully integrate and explore multiple subjects in depth.
