I will be teaching my students many skills throughout the semester and the use of these arduino kits will be their culminating project where they will combine their semester learning into a robotics projects. In this STEM class they will learn: orthographic drawing, 3-D printing, computer programming, circuitry, project development, design, team work, independent work, and time management. An example of a culminating project they could do include building a robot car constructed of 3-D printed parts (that the students have designed) and is wired and programmed by the students using arduino kits to complete a task. I hope the use of this kits can spark creativity and that they can come up with their own culminating project.
