My students will benefit from having microscopes and plant and animal cell slides by being able to learn through hands on activities. From the first week of the year the students were ecstatic about learning through science experiments. They expressed it through their "About Me" papers they wrote on the first week of school. Seeing microorganisms first hand will provide them an improved perspective of what life is made of. They will also be able to see a whole new world that they haven't experienced before. They will be able to apply what they learn through their curriculum and explore the science through a "new lens." The materials will provide them with a richer perspective of what they're learning.
