These supplies will allow my students to complete their class project of building a terrarium. Through technology, students will be able to observe the habitat online. Using these observations students will answer the following questions; does the humidity need adjustment, is there adequate food, are the plants thriving, & is the substrate draining excess water correctly. We will use this project to demonstrate & explain how ecosystems remain stable & change over time. Students will be able to track measurements and compare them against observations of organisms thriving. We will also use this terrarium to explore weathering, erosion, different ecosystems, & environmental management.
