My school is the largest and most diverse in the county. We serve the students that range from those that are Internet capable at home to the student who is only on a computer at school. We also serve many students who speak little to no English. The computer and translation software we have access to has helped a great deal with them. All of my students are eager to learn new things every day and want to become more digitally literate. They want to create share ideas about the world around them. In this day of the 21st century learner the collaborative, tech savvy and data drive individual is the one who wins the day. By having more capacity to get online my students will be better able to compete in the global market of tomorrow.
