I teach in an low income area. Most of my students are English as a second language learners and many are reading below grade level. This can discourage some, however, it does not stop my students from wanting to achieve and learn more. Although their parents may have difficulties helping them with the English language, they always stress the importance of an education. I want to be able to provide every possible opportunity to help them.
