My Theatre Arts students will be able to produce plays for which they can be proud! By purchasing a short-throw projecter for our performance space my students will learn many skills related to theatre production, such as how to incorporate technology into a theatre production, including wiring, timing, and time management. They can also tackle the obstacle of space management by using "virtual scenery" projected on the back wall as opposed to real sets, furniture, and props, and use graphic design skills when incorporationg these projections. As a result of a well-produced play my students can learn teamwork, problem-solving, empathy and story-telling skills, which are all ultimate goals in Theatre Arts, and will also directly influence our audiences and community to raise appreciation for the Arts.
