I am a teacher in a low-income, high poverty school district where my students face several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite these many challenges, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences. These students are growing and learning in the same small, tight knit, school community that inspired me to be a teacher. They are dreamers, thinkers, talkers, and questioners. They are mini inspirations to themselves and others around them, even if they don't know it yet. They are budding ambassadors, world travelers, scientists, entrepreneurs, teachers. They are our future and I want to give them a great start to their long successful career.
