All of the items I've chosen are ones that can be added to our classroom environment to address the needs of my students. The headphones will be used in class for students to complete differentiated assignments online. The standing desks allow students to work and move at the same time, instead of sitting in a traditional desk. Since we like to move around quite a bit here, the option of having alternative seating will allow students to move and stay seated without interrupting the classroom or being a distraction to classmates. The Oculus Virtual Reality set will help us to incorporate STEM into the class, motivate students to learn, and is known to help improve communication skills among students with autism, and hearing issues.
