Across my 5th and 6th grade instruction, I have 16 scholars who yearn for the opportunity when they are able to get through a book without struggling. Oftentimes, for my persevering scholars, they see their fluency as being something that holds them back from enjoying a good book. Most of my scholars are currently reading at or below a 2nd grade reading level. In trying to think of ways for them to hear themselves while reading, I have allowed my scholars to use my personal cell phone to record their voices. Each and every single scholar after having the opportunity to hear themselves read was able to hear the errors that they made and were able to fix it. With your personal donation, my scholars will grow and excel as readers - a gift that we are are fortunate enough to have. Thank you in advance for your contributions.
