I work at a Title 1 school with 80% free and reduced lunch. These are children who sometimes don't know if they will have a meal at night and sometimes go back home to an empty house. We have much diversity at my school, which makes it a beautiful sight to see. My students are bright, funny, curious, and quirky. They have so many ideas and are so creative. Our school is a stable and important part of their sometimes chaotic lives. I'm honored to be a good adult role model for those that might not have one. I feel loved each and every day by my kids.
