These materials will provide for purposeful practice of fine motor skills to prepare children for kindergarten with music, movement, and multisensory lessons. With the addition of an iPad to our classroom it will provide technology to access the Handwriting Without Tears app and provide different modes of learning. Get Set for School (Handwriting Without Tears) is a flexible, play-based curriculum that offers a full pre-writing program and materials that build critical skills like early math and literacy. It includes three programs designed to prepare children for school: Readiness & Writing, Language & Literacy, and Numbers & Math. This addition to my classroom will make working on fine motor skills, that can be frustrating for young learners, more fun!
