My students are AWESOME! They are hard workers and creative thinkers. They just need a chance in the world. They need to know that people believe in them and that they can do anything that they want to do in this world. They need to be prepared to face the problems of their upcoming future and be able to solve these problems so that they have that chance to achieve high goals and heal the world! We are a high needs urban elementary school. Most of these students are students of color. Most of these students do not see a life after school let alone think about even graduating. These are great kids that just want to learn in an environment that supports their ideas, culture and interests. These students do not thrive in the normal, out dated classroom model. These sets will help inspire these students to look at new ways of producing sounds.
