Who are my students? My students are incredible. They are incredibly hard workers. They are incredibly funny! They are incredibly gracious. And they are incredibly kind. The majority of my students come from lower-socioeconomic backgrounds and attend an incredible title-I school in Virginia! They have each worked so very hard to overcome obstacles that they are faced with daily in their lives! I am humbled and continually amazed by their determination and ability to succeed. They truly deserve the very best out of life, and I will tirelessly advocate for them in any way possible in order to help them succeed and become productive, mindful citizens within a society that is sometimes not always very kind back to them.
