Hello! My name is Mr. Escatel and I am proud to be the band director for grades 5-8 at Belleville Public Schools My students go to school in an area ravished with poverty and where over 80% of the students receive free and reduced lunch. Many of them come from unstable homes and come to school every day with hopes that they can move out of their destitute situation and be successful in their future. My students LOVE music. They come to band class everyday with hopes that they may learn a musical concept they can apply to their every day listening, and are excited to create music each and every day. I want to provide my students with a sound music education and give them every advantage possible for them to succeed in life.
