This large, bright carpet will be placed in the front of the reading chair and be used as a gathering place during story time and mini-lessons. The rug creates a friendly place that shows children where to quickly sit and how to space themselves so all can see and hear. The rug design pairs letters with books and book topics. By donating to our project, you are helping kids connect literacy and books with a nurturing, secure, and imaginative environment which will help to improve student attention and focus. Ultimately, this ability to listen and love of books stories will make these young children accomplished students.
