These headphones will allow for me to facilitate self-paced technology learning days in my math class. Currently if I do a day of strictly technology learning, then there can be many different videos heard from across the room at any given time. These headphones would allow for my students to individually listen to and only hear their own video, instead of their neighbor's video who may be ahead of them or behind them on the assigned videos. All my students have an individually assigned iPad by the school, though many of them cannot financially afford such devices at home. I enjoy being able to show them that they are capable of learning independently on technology without me always having to lecture. Self-learning to me is an essential skill for me to teach them and I use Khan Academy to show them such online resources available for self-learning.
