Hi! Welcome to my page! After 15 years away from the field of teaching, I'm back! I have lived an incredible life journey! I've been home raising my kiddos, and 1 adult. I moved across the country, went back to school, and will now be teaching! Nothing excites my heart more than to teach. It's what I've been called to do, and where I am most fulfilled. I am passionate about learning centers in all content areas and creating an environment that reflects engagement, inclusiveness, love and support. I chose my classroom rug for its color and handprints. I love that it reflects all colors and has the ability to create a comfy learning environment. I plan to offer alternative seating in our learning nook, where the classroom rug will serve as cushion as opposed to a hard floor. I also chose several pocket charts to utilize in my classroom along with many everyday items. I love using pocket charts! They help me engage students and the options are endless to an ever evolving classroom. Finally, stools! I love offering additional seating. This helps take the daily pressure off my students as they feel they have options to move about. I am ready to get back to what I love to do, changing lives and helping kids see their potential and reach their goals. Encouraging them along the way and helping them to discover learning in a fun and engaging way is my heart. Would you please consider helping me get started...again...for the second time?!
