I believe that reading is the gateway to a foundation within education. In books, people can find themselves, often in a character they may never have thought possible. By growing my classroom library with culturally diverse books, I can promise that each of my students have a voice. Having a wide variety of books ensures that my students have the opportunity to experience life from different perspectives. My goal is to teach them tolerance and individuality by exposing them to worldly experiences while considering their own identity at the same time.

About my class
