I have taught in the New York City public school system for the last 12 years. For the past five years, I've been the General Education teacher in an ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) NEST classroom. This classroom consists of students on the autism spectrum and neurotypical students. Teaching in this environment has truly opened my eyes as to what great education can be, and how we can all learn from each other. My goal is to always appeal to a variety of learners with very diverse needs, and always aim to make learning fun, meaningful, and everlasting. I hope that my projects on Donors Choose allow my students to have an even more fulfilling education. Thanks in advance for all your support!
