Students will be able to learn about current events and take magazines home to further explore. These materials help students learn at school and expand learning and reading at home. Many of my students do not have books at home or have limited access to the public library. By using Scholastic magazine, my students will be able to take their materials home and keep them to read. With more materials to read at home, they will increase the amount of time they are reading. Students will be learning and practicing comprehension, phonics and fluency skills while reading and using scholastic magazine! All while learning about current events, social studies, and science!
