Although, placed in an alternative setting, the students have fascinating goals. Students are faced with new challenges every day. Sometimes we are all that our students have to look forward to. We are the ones that our students confide in. My job is to create a positive atmosphere for my students. At-risk is only a label they have put on my students. I must make them believe that they are special and that a label does not define their potential.
