Help me give my students music therapy. Each music therapy session includes a variety of motivating instruments and songs. Music therapy also addresses non-musical goals such as physical, social, emotional, cognitive, academic, behavioral and communication. Music therapy is research based and can reach so many students when other therapies are ineffective. Each music therapy session is created to meet the special needs of the students with group goals and objectives. Growth will be charted after each session and shared with all stakeholders. My students with special needs, who attend a mainstream school that is designed for the "average" student, have very little opportunity to participate in activities specifically designed for their needs. Each music therapy session is created to meet the special needs of the students with group goals and objectives. Growth will be charted after each session and shared with all stakeholders.
