There’s nothing like ownership. Imagine writing a story, proofing it, printing it, and binding it in booklet form. How awesome! This is what will be happening as my students turn their writings into their very own books. After I have modeled for them, they will go through each step of the writing process as a class and on their own. The finished products will be housed in our classroom as well as the library. Parents and guardians will get the opportunity to see their work as well. I can see their smiles now and how proud they will be of their work.
