The listening center will foster my students' independent reading skills and give them the chance to hear a variety of books on a daily basis. The sand/water table will give my students the chance to explore using sand and water. We want to foster their love for exploring and a love for books. These materials will give them the opportunity to experience activities that some of them never experienced. It will allow me to offer different activities on a daily basis. The students will be able to pick books out that they want to hear and share them with their friends. With the sand/water table, we will be able to give them various literacy, science, and math activities within the sand/water table.
