With the materials on my list I will be able to create real world experiences for students to engage in active learning and play. This promotes social engagement for young students who are new to the world of school and friends! Active learning and play bridges gaps and opens doors in their little minds. Things like fine and large motor coordination, using nice words, sharing, caring, thinking of others feelings, and taking turns; The list goes on for how active learning and play enhances the early childhood classroom! Using various resources for imaginative play like a farmers market stand, picnic baskets andsuper hero costumes the students are able to connect to their peers and their classroom and learn through play. Please consider my project so the students in my class can engage in fun, hands on, real world activities and experiences!
