You pick up your favorite book to read or perhaps you need to complete some work. Where do you go? Lay on the couch or curl up in a comfy chair? Now, put yourself in the shoes of a young child. You are only given the option of a small desk with an uncomfortable chair. Would you choose this option? I certainty would not. There needs to be a change! Children nowadays are different than the students that walked in 20 years ago. These students live in a world where everything is instantaneous and where there is constant technological stimulation. The standard desk and chair option may work for a select few, but most students need the opportunity to be allowed to learn where they can be most successful. With your generous donations, I can give those options to my students. Some of the seating options include wobble chairs, stability balls, mats, and pillows.
