Kids need to wiggle and need an outlet for their creative energy! They thrive in an environment where they feel safe, supported, and welcomed. I plan to help create this environment by providing flexible seating and get their input in creating a colorful environment. Flexible seating is crucial so that each child can have the level of stimulus they need to focus and be actively engaged. Principles of origami are used in the space exploration industry as they try to reduce the sizes of payloads that they take to space. By introducing this immediately, they start feeling like scientists on day 1.
