In our class, labs are used to either introduce a concept, to hook them and make them wonder about what they are seeing, or they are used to reinforce and solidify concepts they have already learned about. When students run through a lab, their understanding of a concept soars. Also, my students LOVE laboratory experiments. I constantly hear "When are we going to do another lab?" So, labs also build that excitement around science. It's what makes kids love science and want to pursue a future STEM career. By donating to our project, you may be helping to inspire the next generation of doctors, microbiologists, or oceanographers.
