Many students in my class wiggle around throughout the lesson. At times I think they are being off task and staying off focus. If my students were giving the opportunity to have some movement instead of sitting in hard chairs and at desk, I feel they would be able to concentrate on their academic learning better. As adults, we have a hard time sitting still. Why would we ever expect primary age students to be able to sit still for long periods of time? By giving students the availability to move while staying focused and on task I am opening new doors for new ways to learn instead of sitting still.
