Book tell as story and children love to use their imagination and most are visual learners! My students enjoy reading stories to see they are not alone in their feelings. They love learning new skills and retain more of those skills when a story is involved that has some humor to it. Julia Cook is an amazing author who captures the stories and my students love reading and re-reading the stories to learn new skills. With new books on different emotions and situations, students will learn and grow with new skills and activities to accompany them to practice skills. I want to provide my students with the best ways to learn new skills to be success and happy individuals despite their socioeconomic status. Students will be able to enjoy books that teach them valuable lessons and skills for life as well as improve their reading abilities.
