Because of our co-teaching classroom model, the students often work in small groups with a variety of materials. The Wobble Chairs will help them focus on their tasks by allowing them to safely move their bodies without leaving the group. The clipboards can be used as a whiteboard to work on and a firm surface to use and hold work, and they can be taken to any area in the classroom to work on projects independently or in groups. They could also be taken outside to complete our citizen science tasks. Our classroom is comprised of diverse learners, cultures, and backgrounds. It is important that they read about characters from other parts of the world. These books will make a nice multicultural addition to our library for students, teachers, and families to read. At our family meetings, we send books home so that families can read together and discuss at our classroom book clubs.
