Engaging my students towards taking a leap into knowledge and learning is a goal I pursue in my day-to-day. I am a third grade teacher, and my class is composed of a diverse group of students who come from various cultural and economic backgrounds. My school serves more than 41% of students who come from socio-economically disadvantaged homes and are on free or reduced lunch.
