My students come from an economically struggling community. I use my money every time I'm in a store, to buy shoes, socks, coats, school materials, and anything I think they might need. They are so sweet and loving. Each student is so eager to learn! My school is considered a Title 1 school, which means we are an economically struggling community and jobs are scarce. This also means we get free breakfast for each student and a free healthy snack. Lots of my students do not live with a biological parent because they are jail or not able to parent, so lots of them are being raised by another relative. I do not make enough money to fill every obligation, but I do my very best. I give most of time doing whatever they need and what I can do to possibly get them reading every sight word and K/1st grade level books. Excitement is when they come up to me and say "I can read this book!"
