My students are struggling readers! They have difficulty identifying with literature. They are also from a low economic area, where most students qualify for a free lunch program. The students enjoy hearing a good book read aloud to them, why not provide the audio book for them to take home and read on their own? In addition, our school has many class sets of great books, but no audio component. Our school has minimal resources and budgets to buy audio and replacement books.
