My classroom vision: a space where all students will be seen, feel nurtured, and have access to all of the opportunities, rigorous learning and resources they deserve. I want my students to learn and grow in a classroom that provides them with the opportunities, resources and teaching to reach their fullest potential from day one. I want them to have books that they can read and see themselves in. I want them to feel empowered to make choices about how they take responsibility for their learning. I want to have a classroom space where students feel safe and ready to learn. A classroom where they aren't afraid to make mistakes because mistakes make room for learning. I want them to have a classroom space that they want to come back to, day-in and day-out, excited and ready to learn and build community in.
